Welcome to Election Central It was Benjamin Franklin who said at the Congressional Congress in 1787:I have lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth--that God Governs the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?In a similar way, I want to encourage you by letting you know that CWA has been around for a long time, and all our experiences in this battle compel us to attest to that same truth today, 225 years later: God still governs the affairs of men! I know many of you may be feeling a bit discouraged with last night's results, but I want to remind you that God did not forget about us yesterday. He did not forget about our struggle. He has not forgotten about you. He has "inscribed you on the palms of [His] hands" (Isaiah 49:16) and He has a plan for you personally and for our country. So today we stand confident of that truth and also of the calling He has placed on our hearts. We stand today more resolute than ever to stand for God's principles wherever we are. All our efforts have not been in vain. We accomplished some miraculous things this election season. Your hard work through CWA's efforts have put us in the best position we have ever been to tackle the tough issues our country is facing. Let us stand together, boldly proclaiming truth in power. Our reward is secure. Tweets by @CWforA
