Savannah Prayer/Action Chapter Begins!

The Savannah, Georgia, Prayer/Action Chapter held its inaugural meeting Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Savannah Christian Church. Twenty faithful women and men gathered together to learn how to influence public policy decisions through prayer and action. It was a wonderful time of prayer, praise and discussion. The meeting began with introductions and prayer. Tanya Ditty, State Director for CWA of Georgia, led the first meeting and discussion on the threat of Sharia Law in Georgia, pending bills in the Georgia legislature, and pressing issues at the federal level.

Prayer Chapter Leader Sonya Black felt the meeting was a huge success. “It was exciting to see such a large group of women and men come together to learn about the issues, to pray and then empowering ways to take proactive, Christian action,” said Sonya. Tanya and Sonya felt it was an awesome opportunity and privilege to pray with women and men who truly love God, family and country.
