Quick Grassroots Action Stops Federal Funding of ‘Gay’ and Lesbian Center  6/15/2006
Thanks to your calls in support of an amendment by Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars will not be funding the homosexual agenda. King’s amendment eliminated an earmark of $300,000 in the Transportation, Treasury, and Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill (H.R. 5576) that was to pay for a ‘gay’ and lesbian multi-purpose center in Los Angeles.
