School Forces Students to Acknowledge Teacher’s Gender Change  9/13/2006
High school students in Batavia, New York were welcomed back to class this year with a lecture on gender identity disorder. They were also told they would be punished if they referred to a certain veteran teacher as “he,” since this teacher had decided that he is now a “she.” Policy Analyst Martha Kleder and Bob Knight, Director of CWA’s Culture & Family Institute, spoke with Debra J.M.
