Allen-Webb Campaign Raises Women in Combat Issues      10/31/2006



The Virginia Senate campaign between incumbent Senator George Allen, R-Virginia and Democrat challenger Jim Webb has raised the issue of women in the military and women in combat. Regardless of the results of next month’s voting, important points, like Congressional oversight of DOD policies and practices, are being overlooked in the debate.
