Christian Woman Savagely Murdered: Media Largely Ignores Assailant’s Trial      11/1/2006



On November 13, 2002 in Chicago, Mary Stachowicz, a devout Catholic woman, was brutally murdered and her body hidden for days by Nicholas Gutierrez, a homosexual man she had been witnessing to. The murder trial of Gutierrez began on October 26, 2006 and is ongoing. However, as Peter LaBarbera, President of Americans for Truth notes, there is little to no media coverage of this trial, especially when it is compared to the murder of Matthew Shepherd.
