Many newspapers and online publications have run his columns including the Chicago Daily Herald, the Free Lance-Star, the Washington Times’ Insight Magazine, WorldNetDaily.com, TownHall.com, RenewAmerica.us, TheConservativeVoice.com, Front Page Magazine, AmericanThinker.com and many more.

In addition to frequent public speaking engagements, Matt regularly appears as a culture analyst on the Fox News Channel and MSNBC. He has interviewed with ABC World News Tonight and CNN, and is a regular guest on dozens of talk radio programs and networks including the G. Mr. Barber has a background in political campaigns, was press secretary for an Illinois gubernatorial candidate and served as corporate outreach director for Americans for Truth, a national pro-family organization based in Illinois.

Matt served twelve years in the Army National Guard, was a law enforcement officer for three years and a corporate fraud investigator for five years.

He was an undefeated professional boxer retiring in 2004. Several times prior to turning pro, he was a state and regional Golden Gloves champion, competing in the 1992 Western Olympic Trials and winning a Gold Medal in the 1993 Police and Fire World Games.
