Mother of 22 year-old Abortion Victim Available for Interviews     1/15/2008

Washington, D.C. — Laura Hope Smith died during an abortion on September 13, 2007. Too often these stories go unreported and people are unaware of the true dangers of abortion. Laura’s mother, Eileen Smith is prepared to reveal her daughter’s heart-wrenching story. By educating women on the harmful effects of abortion, both physical and emotional, Laura’s death will not be in vain.

“My daughter walked into that office healthy and she left dead” said Eileen Smith.

January 22, 2008 marks the 35th anniversary of the controversial ruling in Roe v. Wade. Eileen Smith will be in Washington to join Concerned Women for America (CWA) in the March for Life on Tuesday. This annual event is held to rally pro-life support for ending abortion. Eileen Smith will also join CWA volunteers on Wednesday to lobby Congress for pro-life legislation.
