Members of Congress and community leaders gathered at the Cannon House Office Building to decry the hijacking of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) by the abortion lobby. Under the current rewrite of the bill, as much as $50 billion in HIV/AIDS relief could be diverted from the faith-based groups providing healthcare in Africa to the coffers of those providing abortion.
