In advance of the meeting between President Bush and Jordan's King Abdullah II, the Institute for Religion and Public Policy asked the administration to keep religious freedom a front burner issue, even with our nation's allies in the Middle East. Joe Grieboski, Founder and President of the IRPP, explains why this is an important issue. He notes that last year 27 foreign Christians and their families were deported because of "illegal" missionary activities, despite Jordan's adoption of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights in 2006. He notes that these, and other, actions can have serious repercussions for religious freedom in the region. Listen | Download
