The California Court of Appeal has granted a motion for rehearing in the Rachel L. case, vacating a controversial decision that could have banned home schooling in the state unless parents obtained the same teaching licenses as public school teachers. Michael Farris, Chairman of the Home School Legal Defense Association, has more on this development, what it means for home schooling parents across the country, and the road ahead as the court prepares to rehear the case.
