Vermont Supreme Court Rules in Lisa Miller Case      3/27/2008

In a move that was not unexpected, the Vermont Supreme Court has ruled against Lisa Miller, granting her former lesbian partner liberal visitation and custody rights to Miller's biological child. Meanwhile, the Virginia Supreme Court is preparing to release its ruling on this same case. Rena Lindenvaldzen, an Assistant Professor at Liberty University School of Law and counsel with the Liberty Counsel, discusses this case with Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues along with it's chilling implications for state's rights and law nationwide.
