Day of Silence Walkout and Protest Recap      4/29/2008

Click for more multimedia content.

On the Day of Silence, observed this year on April 25, CWA joined a coalition of organizations to urge parents to keep their children home from school that day. In Washington State, Dr. Ken Hutcherson, Senior Pastor of Antioch Bible Church in Redmond, Washington took that walk out one step further by staging a protest in front of Mount Si High School. Maureen Richardson, State Director of Concerned Women for America of Washington, attends Antioch Bible Church and also attended the protest outside Mount Si High School. She shares with Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues about the success of both the walkout and the protest. Listen | Download
