Christian Group Sues Google Over Ad Ban 5/14/2008 Click for more multimedia content.
The Christian Institute, a British pro-family group, has filed a lawsuit against the Internet search engine, Google, for refusing to accept its advertisement regarding a controversial embryology bill. Google's reason for denying the ad was that the Christian Institute's website mentions both religion and abortion - although their ad did not. Michael Judge, Head of Communications for the Christian Institute (CI), discusses with Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues, CI's discrimination lawsuit, why they feel they have a strong case, and how this case could impact Google's advertising policies worldwide.
