Hounddog Update: A Call to Action     10/3/2008
Your Voice is Vital in This Fight!
By Leslie Smith

With your help, Concerned Women for America (CWA) has been credited with keeping the movie Hounddog, which features a child rape, out of over 200 theaters in the United States. We praise God for the victory in this battle, but the war is far from over.

Join us as we respectfully ask theater chain Cinemark to remove this movie from its theaters. Ask this company to take a stand for family values and the protection of children. Share your concerns about this movie being shown in your community, and how such obscene material could desensitize people to crimes committed against children.

Donna Miller, Director of the No More Child Porn Campaign and CWA Prayer/Action Chapter Leader for the Fayetteville, North Carolina area, states, "CWA will continue to provide contact information concerning the movie Hounddog, which features a child rape scene. The movie has been removed from AMC theaters, however, the following theater chain carried the movie on the release date of September 19. Please make your opinions known respectfully to Cinemark."
