Liberty Counsel Files Motion to Intervene in Prop 8 Challenge      11/10/2008

Proposition 8, the voter-approved amendment to the California State Constitution that defines marriage as only between one man and one woman, was in affect for just hours when same-sex "marriage" advocates filed lawsuits seeking to overturn it. Representing Campaign for California Families, the Liberty Counsel has now filed a motion to intervene with the same court. Mat Staver, Founder of the Liberty Counsel and Dean of the Liberty University School of Law, has more on this most recent court action and where the battle to defend traditional marriage goes from here.
