As we prepare for The National Day of Prayer this Thursday, congressional leaders are taking the time to draw attention to our nation's religious foundations. It is our nation's roots in the Christian faith that has given us a nation where all men, no matter their creed, can worship in peace. Congressman Randy Forbes, R-Virginia, is leading this effort as a part of the Congressional Prayer Caucus. He spoke with CWA President Wendy Wright about our nation's bedrock values, President Obama's statements denying our heritage, and the introduction of House Resolution 888, affirming our nation's spiritual and religious history, and marking the first week in May as "American Religious History Week."
