The Obama presidency is breaking ground that goes far beyond racial barriers. As many Evangelicals have noticed, while the President claims the Christian faith and invokes the name of Jesus, he is at the same time at odds and even hostile to those who make similar claims. The President has also claimed to at one time follow the Islamic faith. Dr Janice Crouse, Senior Fellow and Director of CWA's Beverly LaHaye Institute, looks at Obama's upbringing and faith traditions and sheds some light on the President's divergent faith claims and actions.
