Act Now to Stop Passage of "Gay Rights" Ordinance in Anchorage, Alaska      8/14/2009

In Alaska, the Anchorage City Assembly has passed an anti-discrimination ordinance that includes "sexual orientation," extending special rights to homosexuals, transgenders, cross dressers and other forms of sexual deviancy. The matter is now before Mayor Dan Sullivan who will decide this weekend whether he will sign or veto AO No. 2009-64. Homosexual activists from across the nation are flooding the Mayor's e-mail with support for this measure. Today, Dr. Jerry Prevo, Pastor of Anchorage Baptist Temple and founder of Anchorage Christian Schools, joins CWA of Alaska State Director Patty Anker to encourage concerned Christians to e-mail the Mayor as well.
