All Citizens Called to Act on Marriage in Massachusetts     3/8/2004
By Sandi Martinez

We need to flood the legislators this week (March 8-12).

1) Continue to call Senate President Robert Travaglini and tell him we want a vote-no delays-on the original Travis Bill H3190 with no civil unions. Telephone number: 617-722-1500 or e-mail him at RTravagl@senate.state.ma.us. Remind him that this will be a big election issue this fall, and ask him to remove the four rogue judges!

2) Contact Speaker of the House Thomas Finneran and thank him for his support for MA & PA. Remind him that we do not want civil unions, nor do we want any compromise bills. We want the original Travis amendment H3190 voted on during the March 11 Constitutional Convention. Ask him, as well, to remove the four rogue judges.

3) Call Gov. Mitt Romney, thank him for his position to date, and urge him to become more visible in his support of traditional marriage. He can show leadership by taking a strong stand, as have Rep. Phil Travis and Speaker Finneran. He must do all in his power to challenge the ruling by the rogue judiciary and not allow the marriages to take place under any circumstances. Ask him to remove the four rogue judges. Telephone number: (617) 725-4005; fax: (617) 727-9725.

4) If you live in Massachusetts, ask the same as above of your state representative and senator. Go to www.wheredoivotema.com to obtain contact information.

After you have made these calls, open your Christmas card list, address book and e-mail list and ask everyone you know to do what we have just asked you to do, including passing this information on to their address books and e-mail lists.

We need to flood the legislators this week. LET THE PEOPLE VOTE and REMOVE THE JUDGES!
