President Bush Names His U.S. Supreme Court Nominee      7/20/2005


John G. Roberts, currently on the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals has been chosen by President Bush to replace Justice Sandra Day O’Connor on the U.S. Supreme Court. The choice is welcomed by conservatives who are pleased to see the President keep his promise to the public. CWA’s Chief Counsel Jan LaRue has more on this nominee and the battle ahead.
