Homosexual ‘Civil Rights’ Bill in House Committee      8/30/2005


An amendment to the Civil Rights Act sponsored by Rep. Edolphus Towns, D-New York, is currently in the Constitution subcommittee of the House Judiciary Committee. The measure would add sexual orientation the nation’s leading civil rights law and would add sexual orientation to the Fair Housing Act as well.
