CWA Not Backing Off Calls for Channel Choice      12/15/2005

Concerned Women for America (CWA) sent a letter to Congress Wednesday, co-signed by over 35 other advocacy organizations representing millions of families across the country, calling on elected officials to pressure video service providers to make available “a la carte” pricing for American consumers. Lanier Swann, CWA’s Director of Government Relations, headed a teleconference call for the media on this subject and the cable industry’s recent announcement that they would provide “family friendly” tiers of programming.
