Mattel Changes Barbie Poll      1/5/2006

Mattel, the makers of the iconic Barbie doll, moved quickly to change the poll on the Barbie.com Web site. Last week we reported that the poll asked children their sex giving them the options of “I’m a girl,” “I’m a boy,” and “I don’t know.” Today that third option reads “I don’t want to say.” Bob Knight, Director of CWA’s Culture & Family Institute provides this update.
