Stories of Women in the Persecuted Church
![]() |
Anneke Companjen, missionary with Open Doors International, has traveled the world visiting with and collecting the stories of women in the persecuted church. These women face not only persecution themselves, but see their families persecuted for Christ as well. Many are forced to provide for their families in that environment while their husbands are imprisoned. In her new book Singing through the Night: Courageous Stories of Faith from Women in the Persecuted Church, Anneke shares the stories of these women, and the hope and spiritual wisdom they bring to women carrying their own burdens here in the United States.
