Over the past several decades many ethnic minorities have been displaced, raped, or murdered by the Burmese military. Christian Freedom International has been working with these displaced peoples providing them with day-to-day necessities as well as academic, trade, and spiritual education. Now that the U.S. State Department has approved the asylum applications of many of these refugees, resettlement efforts are underway to bring them to the United States. Karen Jacobson, wife of Christian Freedom International’s president Jim Jacobson, says that churches and faith-based groups can play an important role in the resettlement process. Listen | Download
