Judicial Nominee Smeared by Senate Democrats

Concerned Women for America (CWA) participated in a Capitol Hill press conference today in support of U.S. Court of Appeals nominee Judge Leslie Southwick. Rated “unanimously well-qualified” by the American Bar Association, Judge Southwick sought an age waiver to serve in Iraq, requesting to be sent to the most dangerous area. Yet liberal groups have smeared Judge Southwick with unfounded accusations, and a few Democrat senators are repeating them. Several groups and senators united at this press conference to call for an end to the unfounded attacks and for the confirmation of Judge Southwick. |
