
FCC Levies Indecency Fine on ABC Affiliates

The Federal Communications Commission imposed a $1.43 million fine against ABC affiliate stations airing an episode of NYPD Blue before 10 P.M. The episode, originally aired in 2003 and featured full side-view female nudity with a young boy watching. Shari Rendall, CWA's Director of Legislation and Public Policy and Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues discuss this fine, its timing, and what you can do to promote the FCC's indecency enforcement efforts.
