
Iowa Lawmaker Attacks Pro-Family Activist From the Floor

At the close of the Iowa General Assembly, State Sen. Matt McCoy launched a verbal attack against pro-family leader Chuck Hurley, President of the Iowa Family Policy Center. This hateful attack was made in the name of the Day of Silence, a day where students who identify themselves as homosexual are supposed to disrupt the classroom environment by remaining silent for the day. Concerned Women for America of Iowa State Director Tamara Scott spoke with Matt Barber, CWA's Policy Director for Cultural Issues about this attack and what it means for traditionally-minded citizens and Iowa public policy.
