Christians Quietly Making a Difference for Cyclone Victims in Burma/Myanmar

Weeks have gone by since the devastating cyclone killed an estimated 100,000 and displaced 2.8 million others, in the Karen region of Burma, an area with a strong Christian community. In the midst of this crisis, Christian relief groups that have had a presence in the nation before tragedy struck, are best able to help those in need. Jim Jacobson is president of Christian Freedom International , one of those groups with close ties to indigenous medics and Christian leaders. He discusses the current plight of the cyclone victims, and the risks Christians are taking to relieve suffering there, and how important prayer is at this time. Listen | Download
