Pact Sheds Light on High Teen Pregnancy Rate



For a while now Gloucester, Massachusetts has been struggling with soaring teen pregnancy rates. In response, high school administrators established an in-school day care center so this growing number of girls could continue their education after they gave birth. Leaders there also established confidential - meaning without parental consent -- pregnancy testing and contraceptive distribution. Now it has been learned that despite those efforts, a number of these girls, aged 16 and under, were getting pregnant on purpose. Reports now say that a number of these girls made a pact to get pregnant and raise their babies together. CWA President Wendy Wright has more information on this shocking story. Listen | Download
