Protest Urges the NEA to Stop Promoting Abortion
![]() |
Well over a dozen pro-life educators and activists gathered outside the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. on July 2, to urge the nation's largest teachers' union, the National Education Association (NEA), to drop it's support of "reproductive rights" and to remain neutral on the issue. The protest was organized by Pro-Life Educators and Students (PLEAS), a nationwide group of educators seeking to influence the NEA from within.
