Protect Pro-Life Doctors: Your Comments Needed by HHS
![]() |
The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking comments on a proposed law to protect the conscience rights of medical professionals; doctors, nurses, pharmacists. That proposal is coming under intense fire from abortion advocates. Doctor David Stevens, MD MA (Ethics), Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Medical and Dental Association, says this issue is pivotal to all fields of medical practice, from end-of-life and physician-assisted suicide, to the implications of stem cell research on the treatment of various diseases and injuries. He discusses these proposed regulations and adds that if the other side is successful in forcing prolifers out of the medical profession, we will lose our right to have a physician who shares our views on the value of life.
