Iranian Tyrant Honored by Left Wing Churches
![]() |
Despite his intense program of radical Islamization and refusal to cooperate with the world community on the nuclear issue, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be lauded by a handful of left-wing Christian groups at a private dinner to celebrate the end of Ramadan in New York City on September 25. The groups hosting the dinner include the World Council of Churches, the American Friends Service Committee, the Mennonites and the U.S. section of the World Conference of Religions for Peace. Rev. Keith Roderick, Washington Representative for Christian Solidarity International, U.S.A. and a member of the Episcopal clergy, says that in light of Iran's recently enacted blasphemy law, Christian ministers, as well as those from faith traditions other than radical Islam, will be facing the death penalty in Iran. Women United will host a protest outside the Grand Hyatt Hotel located at 109 East 42nd Street, to show support for religious freedom, and you are invited to join them. Listen | Download
