![]() |
There is no doubt about it, between the recent election season and the economic down turn; we are emotionally drained just as we are heading into the often stressful holiday season. Now is the time when we need to demonstrate godly love to those around us, not only to our difficult family members but to the strangers we encounter in our daily walk. Dr. Stephen Post is the director of the Center for Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care, and Bioethics at Stony Brook University and president of the Institute for Research on Unlimited Love - Altruism, Compassion, Service created in 2001 with a grant from the John Templeton Foundation. His book, Godly Love: A Rose Planted in the Desert of Our Hearts, is based on years of research and interaction with some of the world's stellar practitioners of godly love. Dr. Post spoke with CWA Policy Analyst Martha Kleder and discussed the concept, application and eternal value of godly love. Listen | Download
