CWA Celebrates Life - Challenges Obama Administration

Later this month the nation will witness the historic inauguration of Barrack Obama as the nation's 44th President, followed by the 36th anniversary of the U.S. Supreme Court's decision in Roe v. Wade, legalizing abortion on demand. President-elect Obama has made a commitment to abortion supporters that he will sign the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) into law. That bill, if passed, would overturn decades of hard-won restrictions and regulations on abortion. Because of that, Concerned Women for America is asking our friends to join us in observing CWA's Life Week. CWA President Wendy Wright shares some of the activities planned for this year, including an Open House for March for Life participants, CWA staff handing out talking points on FOCA at the March for Life rally and a special FOCA lobby day that everyone can participate in, even if they aren't coming to Washington, D.C.
