National Religious Freedom Day

January 16 marks the anniversary of Virginia's adoption of Thomas Jefferson's landmark Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom in 1786. Prison Fellowship Ministries, headquartered in the state, is drawing attention to this day and its importance for all citizens, even those behind bars.
