U.S. Supreme Court Lets Child Online Protection Die

The Child Online Protection Act (COPA) died a quiet death on January 21, 2009, when the U.S. Supreme Court refused to review a lower court decision out of Philadelphia. That lack of action allowed the U.S. Court of Appeals in Philadelphia to invalidate the 10-year-old anti-pornography law.
