Obama Names His First Judicial Nominee



President Obama's first nomination to the federal court, Judge David Hamilton to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, is being marketed by the White House as a moderate. However, upon scrutiny of Judge Hamilton's past decisions, Mario Diaz, CWA's Policy Director for Legal Issues, says that Judge Hamilton is the very definition of judicial activism.
