Congressional and Religious Leaders Condemn Hate Crimes Legislation

Public policy, religious and congressional leaders joined together to condemn H.R. 1913, the Hate Crimes Bill, as an assault on religious liberty and justice. Among those who spoke in opposition to this legislation were black pastors and self-avowed Democrats. Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, moderated the event.
