Mothers Day Under Attack?



In their efforts to improve the situation of women around the globe, a handful in the international community believe there should be no honoring of motherhood in public policy since motherhood "traps" women in lowly domestic endeavors instead of using their talents in the workforce. Toward that effort, some nations have been told by bodies of the United Nations (UN) to stop honoring Mothers Day. Could the United States be next? Concerned Women for America President Wendy Wright says that if the U.S. signs on to troubling UN treaties, we could very well be.
