Sotomayor's Nomination and the Life Issue



The judicial philosophy of President Obama's pick to the Supreme Court calls to question her willingness to legislate from the bench. Her ideology raises concerns about the issue of life because it was that ideology that gave us the tragic Roe v. Wade decision. Her nomination to the nation's highest court comes as a new survey reveals that the majority of Americans want a Supreme Court justice who will respect the Constitution, interpret the law as written, and uphold the will of the people when it comes to common sense restrictions on abortions.
