
Kevin Jennings: Too Radical to Oversee Education Programs

Kevin Jennings, Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools in the Department of Education, has apologized for an incident in the 1980's where he, as a teacher, failed to report a sexual relationship between a student and an adult. While the apology was geared to dampen the growing criticism of his appointment, Linda Harvey, President of Mission America, says that as the founder and long-time head of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) Jennings has far worse skeletons in his closet and should be removed from his post.
