Human Trafficking and Forced Conversions

A new and ground-breaking report looks at the plight of Coptic Christian Women in Egypt who are routinely abducted, forced to convert to Islam, forced into marriages with Muslim men. This report is a joint project of Christian Solidarity International and the Coptic Foundation for Human Rights. Elliott Daniels, Washington Representative for Christian Solidarity International, and the report's co-author Michele Clark, a human trafficking specialist, discuss the report's findings and the life-altering results for these women under Egypt's political system which denies them the ability to reclaim their Christian identity.
