CBS Turns "Frosty the Snowman" into Crude Pitch Man for its Sit-Coms
![]() |
CBS television is being criticized for posting two, crude, sexualized promos for its top sit-coms, "How I Met Your Mother" and "Two and a Half Men," using the children's Christmas classic "Frosty the Snowman." The clips have the beloved cartoon snowman talking to children about porn, strip clubs, S&M, and body parts. While not broadcast, Colleen Raezler, research assistant with the Culture and Media Institute, says the videos were posted on the CBS website along side full episodes of the network's top shows. And, while now removed from there, the videos remain on YouTube and have gone viral in emails, meaning they are still easy for children to access. Listen | Download
