Life-Affirming Options for Embryos



If not life-destroying research, what are the options for the nation's estimated half million excess embryos? One option is embryo adoption. Dr. Jeffery Keenan, MD, Director for the National Embryo Donation Center spoke with CWA President Wendy Wright about the center's mission, the opportunity that embryo adoption presents for couples that have been unsuccessful with fertility treatments, as well as couples who have used in-vitro fertilization, completed their families, and now must decide the future of their remaining embryos.
