Our Response to the Arizona Tragedy

The tragedy in Tucson, Arizona has generated a lot of finger pointing and even more inflamed rhetoric about inflamed rhetoric. Yet, the issue underneath it all, the one we should be focusing on as a nation, is how we deal with those battling hidden disabilities-- mental and emotional challenges among them. Shannon Royce discusses this issue from the perspective of the mother of a child with hidden disabilities, and as the President and C.E.O. of www.ChosenFamilies.org an non-profit group supporting families and churches living with hidden disabilities.
