
Measure to Repeal DOMA Introduced in the U.S. House and Senate

The Federal Defense of Marriage Act is under attack from the courts and the Obama administration which refuses to defend it. Now, a handful of liberal lawmakers have introduced the so-called "Respect for Marriage Act" which would repeal the 1996 law defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman. CWA's Policy Director for Legal Issues Mario Diaz, has more on this legislation and efforts by House Speaker John Boehner to appoint a lawyer to defend the law protecting marriage. Listen | Download
