Rep. Melissa Leach from District 137 receives Concerned Women for America of Missouri’s Freedometer Award. Representative Leach has sponsored and supported legislation that has sought to protect the most cherished of basic rights, such as the right to life, liberty, justice, property, and self-defense. Repeatedly her efforts reflect a clear understanding of the proper role of civil government. Where possible she has sought to protect the freedoms and rights of individuals and to limit the size and growth of government.
