Statement on the Sandy Hook tragedy
Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Nance responds today to news of the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School:
“Please join Concerned Women for America as we pray for the students, faculty, and victims' families of the senseless shooting this morning in Newtown, Connecticut. As a mother, I know this is every parent’s worst nightmare. Today the nation mourns for those killed by another deranged, evil person who wreaks havoc and murder on innocent people in situations that should be safe. May we hug our families closer this holiday season, realizing tomorrow is never promised to anyone. We pray that God provides the comfort of His presence to all those who are grieving and injured. Revelations 21:4 reminds us that, "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain…"
